Community Hours
The DEI Office invites all members of the campus community to attend the DEI Office Community Hours. This space is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as registered student organizations, staff, and faculty. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the DEI Office and programs, chat with DEI Office staff, and utilize the study and community space provided. Additionally, attendees can access free bluebooks, scantrons, coffee, snacks, and more.
JEDI Talks
In case you're wondering, JEDI stands for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. These talks will feature esteemed experts from across campus who will share their knowledge and experience on various JEDI topics.
Bluebooks & Coffee
The DEI Office Bluebooks and Coffee Events are a popular program on campus that provides free exam materials such as bluebooks and scantrons, as well as coffee, tea, and snacks for all students. This program pops up in different locations on campus in weeks 3, 5, and 7, and students can follow the DEI Office on Instagram @ucsb_deioffice to see where they will be each week. Don't miss out on this opportunity to stock up on exam essentials and enjoy a pick-me-up while studying!

Do you have an imaginative idea, program, or project that will help to advance equity and inclusion at UC Santa Barbara? Are you hosting a cultural program or event on campus? The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion partners with several campus departments to provide grants and co-sponsorships for your innovative and creative programs. Join one of our sessions to learn more and ask additional questions.
