About Me:

Hi there! My name is Cristina Perez and I serve as the Business Manager in the DEI Office. I am a first-generation college graduate from UCSB who originally entered as a Computer Engineering major, but an Accounting class unexpectedly stole my heart, leading me to switch majors and embark on a fulfilling career path in Finance at UCSB. What truly fuels my passion is helping individuals uncover their true selves and break free from outside pressures. Whether it's guiding someone through their educational journey or providing support in post-graduation life, I am dedicated to assisting others in discovering their authentic paths. I strive to create an environment that encourages exploring personal aspirations and embracing individuality. In times when positivity is needed, I make it my mission to be that uplifting bubble, spreading optimism and encouragement.

Leveraging my knowledge in finance and administration to support UCSB departments and organizations in receiving and/or tracking funding as well as pointing them towards resources.
